Christians honor the true faith and the one true God; when we read “Hear o Israel,” it is God talking to us. Jesus Christ gave his blood to overcome death for all who believe in Him! This is the new Testament!
1Cor 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us:
Old Testament Israelites depended on the earthly High Priest to enter the Holy of Holies once a year, with the blood of animals, to atone for the sins of the people.
Gen 9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
Old Testament’s value for value, an eye for an eye, value (blood) given for (spiritual) life obtained.
However, only the High Priest could ask Almighty God, and only in the Holy of Holies!
Christ overcame death for all who have faith in the new promise. The New Testament faithful are able to ask forgiveness of sins through the Blood of the Lamb, our High Priest sitting on the right of Almighty God, which is the Holiest of Holies. Our Lord, the King of Israel, overcame spiritual death for all of us!
However, the troubles and tribulations that End Day generations may face are going to need all the spiritual support they can gain.
Job 1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
Job was a true man of God; he obeyed the Commandments, and he was blessed and protected.
Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
:10 Has not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
Not even the adversary is able to cause the faithful or their house any harm! These walls of protection are invisible to the natural world, but the supernatural world sees them clearly.
All the faithful are commanded by God to write the verses on their doorposts, and their gates.
Deut 11:20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
To display the doorpost on your house is a commandment and a blessing! It is a reminder to your house and all others; a visible guardian to the natural world, and a spiritual wall of protection to the supernatural.
Through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Emmanuel’s Doorpost was created. What better way to observe the Commandment of the Father than in a Cross, as Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law! The Cross is a perfect symbol for this, because there are two parts of the Commandment, one scroll fits horizontally and the other vertically. The three nails that attach this mark on your house signify the sacrifice that our Lord suffered for us.
This renewed commitment to the Almighty Father and the Power through our Lord Jesus Christ will be a blessing to you and your house. Amen.
