The Reason For the Doorpost
God commanded His people, His faithful, to write these certain verses on their doors and their gates! Our Father meant for us to proclaim our faith for all to see.
The Doorpost is a visible guardian, and a constant reminder to your house and any who enter and leave.
When His faithful show their allegiance, the Almighty Father provides protection and prosperity for His people.
Deut 11:20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
Not even the adversary is able to cause the faithful or their house any harm! These walls of protection are invisible to the natural world, but the supernatural world sees them clearly.
Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
:10 Has not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
To display the doorpost on your house is a commandment and a blessing!
